Pollinator Workshops
Children learn about the importance of pollinators
An educational hive (no live bees!) is brought into the classroom and children can to handle beekeeping equipment such as a bee suit, smoker etc. We also take along microscopes so the children can investigate the bee in more detail.
In this way children engage with the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan.
Each workshop is approx. 40 minutes long and is tailored to each age group.
